On self-serve plans your quota and extra usage are billed at the token cost of the model you pick. Gemini 4 Argon’s extra 50% off ends after Oct 27, so the same work in Argon uses about twice as much quota from Oct 28. Introductory pricing still applies until Dec 1.
“Gemini 4 Argon is available at introductory pricing ($2.00/1M input, $10.00/1M output, $0.10/1M cache input) through December 1, 2026, with an additional 50% off ($1.00/1M input, $5.00/1M output, $0.05/1M cache input) through October 27, 2026.”

We only list a change when the vendor’s own page gives a date, and we quote that wording. When a vendor says “through Oct 28”, we list the change on Oct 29, the first day it applies. Vendors don’t always say which time zone they mean, so treat the day as approximate. Changes that already happened are in the change log. Know about one we’re missing? Tell us.
